Services & Estimates

Jake of All Trades provides professional handyman services including home repairs, maintenance, and installations. Estimates are provided based on the initial description of projects. Final costs may vary depending on hidden site conditions or changes in the project scope. We strive to provide accurate timelines, but completion dates are subject to material availability and scope adjustments.

Payment Terms

Payment is due upon completion of each service visit unless otherwise agreed upon in writing. We accept major credit cards, digital payments, and checks. For larger projects exceeding a specific amount, a deposit may be required before work begins. Late payments may be subject to administrative fees as permitted by local regulations.

Cancellation Policy

We respect your time and ask for the same in return. Cancellations should be made at least 24 hours in advance of the scheduled appointment. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice may incur a service fee to cover our scheduling costs and travel logistics. If Jake of All Trades needs to reschedule, we will provide as much notice as possible.

Liability & Warranty

At Jake of All Trades, we take pride in our workmanship. We offer a limited warranty on our labor for a period of 90 days following completion. This warranty does not cover issues arising from normal wear and tear, customer negligence, or manufacturer defects in materials. Our liability is limited to the total amount paid for the specific service provided.

Customer Obligations

Customers are responsible for providing clear access to the work area and securing any pets. It is the customer's responsibility to identify the location of any hidden pipes, wires, or structural elements that may affect the work. Any required permits or HOA approvals must be obtained by the customer prior to the start of the service.
